About Pallavi foley
Pallavi has been identified as a game changer-part of 35 young achievers who "make a difference".
Rio Tinto has called her as "India's hottest young talent", and the World Gold Council has named her as "The Elsa Peretti of India". In the August’17 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Bride, who explored her avant-garde yet intensely wearable designs, termed her as the shape-shifter. A signature Pallavi Foley piece is luxurious and understated in an unexpected way. Bringing in the drama by breaking norms of conventional jewels and taking craft of jewellery making to a further new level of sculptural and artistic three dimensional forms.

achievments
Pallavi is one of India’s leading jewellery designers; her list of achievements is long:
- She has been on the cover of India Today – they called her a game changer – part of 35 young achievers who “make a difference”. Rio Tinto has called her India’s “hottest young talent”, and the World Gold Council has called her “the Elsa Peretti of India”.
- She has won many national and international design awards, but her favorite pieces are the “three space necklace, which won her the second place at the International Saul Bell Award Competition in 2010, and another project from the past she says will always be close to her heart is the Femina Miss India Universe Crowns that she designed in 2006 and 2007 (while she was at Tanishq).
- She understands the limitations of the manufacturing process but that she is not encumbered by tradition, or the “accepted way of doing something”. So, under her watch, gold and precious stone are pushed to their limit – the end result being jewellery that is today avant-garde, and tomorrow timeless.
- Pallavi graduated as an accessories designer from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi in 2000, and then went on to work for Tanishq for close to a decade.
- Today, Pallavi creates her hand-crafted, sculptural jewels in rich 18-carat gold at her studios and boutiques in Bangalore at the Leela palace hotel and the VR Bengaluru .
But much more importantly, what enables Pallavi to make the masterpieces she does? Pallavi says that “when it comes to design, she is fearless”.
